Plenordo (“Plenordo”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is a local-first Android application designed to help independent professionals manage schedules, clients or students, lessons or appointments, notes, payments, expenses, and related work information.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Plenordo processes, how it is used, where it is stored, and what choices users have regarding their data.
1. Local Data Storage
Plenordo is designed around a local-first architecture.
Most information entered into the application is stored directly on the user’s device. This may include:
- client or student names and contact details;
- subjects, services, schedules, lessons, or appointments;
- homework and professional notes;
- payment records entered by the user;
- expenses and accounting information;
- application settings;
- locally created backup data.
Plenordo does not upload this ordinary work data to the Plenordo backend.
In particular, Plenordo servers are not intended to store client or student databases, lesson or appointment history, schedules, homework, professional notes, payment ledgers, expense records, or the contents of user-created backups.
Local application data remains on the user’s device until it is deleted by the user, removed by Android, replaced through a restore operation, application storage is cleared, or the application is uninstalled.
2. Google Drive and Google Sheets
Google Sheets integration is optional.
If a user chooses to connect Google Sheets, Plenordo requests access through Google’s official authorization system.
Plenordo currently uses the following Google OAuth scope:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file
This limited scope allows Plenordo to work with files created or opened by the application without requesting broad access to the user’s entire Google Drive.
Plenordo may use the Google Drive and Google Sheets APIs to create and update a Plenordo accounting spreadsheet in the Google account selected by the user.
The spreadsheet remains in the user’s own Google Drive account and remains under the user’s control.
Plenordo does not require users to store their spreadsheets in a Google account owned by the developer, and Plenordo does not upload the contents of those spreadsheets to the Plenordo backend.
Users may revoke Plenordo’s access to Google services through their Google Account settings.
3. Backups
Plenordo may allow users to create local JSON backups of their application data.
Backups are created at the user’s request and may be saved, shared, or transferred to a location selected by the user.
Plenordo does not automatically upload JSON backup contents to the Plenordo backend.
Users are responsible for protecting backup files stored in locations they choose.
4. Google Sign-In, Trial, and Account Verification
Plenordo may use Google Sign-In to verify a user’s identity for technical functions such as:
- starting and validating the Plenordo trial;
- checking entitlement to the full version;
- restoring access after reinstalling or changing devices;
- preventing repeated or fraudulent trial activation.
Google may provide Plenordo with a signed ID token containing account-related claims required for authentication.
Plenordo sends this token securely to the Plenordo backend for verification.
The backend uses the verified Google identity to derive a pseudonymous technical account identifier used for entitlement purposes.
Plenordo does not receive or store the user’s Google password.
Raw Google authentication tokens are not intended to be stored permanently as user account records.
The Plenordo backend may store limited technical information such as:
- a pseudonymous account identifier;
- trial activation date and time;
- entitlement status;
- entitlement verification timestamps;
- information necessary to prevent abuse or repeated trial activation;
- information required to restore a verified purchase.
The standard Plenordo trial lasts 15 consecutive days from its first server-verified activation.
This technical account information is separate from the professional work data stored locally in the application.
5. Google Play Purchases
Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing.
Plenordo does not collect or store payment card numbers, bank account details, or other payment credentials. Those payment details are handled by Google Play.
To verify a purchase and provide lifetime access, Plenordo may process technical purchase information such as:
- product identifier;
- purchase token;
- purchase status;
- acknowledgement status;
- entitlement status.
Purchase information may be verified with Google Play and used to grant, restore, validate, or revoke access to the full version of Plenordo.
6. Security and Play Integrity
Plenordo may use Google Play Integrity and related security mechanisms to protect trial activation, purchases, and entitlement verification from fraud, tampering, unauthorized copies, or modified versions of the application.
Security checks may include technical information such as:
- application package name;
- application version;
- signing certificate information;
- application recognition status;
- integrity-related technical signals.
These signals are used for security, fraud prevention, and entitlement verification. They are not used for advertising or behavioral profiling.
Plenordo uses reasonable technical measures designed to protect information processed through its online services, including encrypted HTTPS communication and restricted backend access.
No electronic storage or internet transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users should also protect their devices, Google accounts, and backup files with appropriate security measures.
7. Data Sharing
Plenordo does not sell personal information.
Plenordo does not rent personal information to advertisers.
Information may be processed by third-party services only when necessary to provide a feature requested by the user or to operate essential technical infrastructure.
These services may include:
- Google Identity services for authentication;
- Google Drive and Google Sheets for optional spreadsheet functionality;
- Google Play Billing for purchases;
- Google Play Integrity for application security;
- Google Cloud infrastructure for technical trial and entitlement services;
- public exchange-rate services when required for accounting calculations.
Each third-party provider processes information according to its own privacy policy and terms.
Plenordo does not provide ordinary client, student, lesson, note, or payment data to these services unless it is necessary for a user-requested function.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Local Plenordo data remains on the user’s device until the user removes it.
Users may delete local application data by:
- deleting individual records inside Plenordo where the feature is available;
- clearing Plenordo application storage/data through Android settings;
- uninstalling the application.
Google Sheets or other files stored in the user’s own Google Drive remain under the user’s control and can be deleted directly through the user’s Google account.
Removing Plenordo from a device does not automatically delete files that the user previously saved in Google Drive or another external location.
Server-side technical trial, account, purchase, and entitlement information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- provide or restore access to Plenordo;
- maintain a lifetime purchase entitlement;
- prevent fraudulent or repeated trial activation;
- protect application security;
- comply with legal, accounting, platform, or fraud-prevention requirements.
Requesting deletion of server-side data
Users may request deletion of Plenordo server-side account and entitlement data by contacting:
Please include the words “Plenordo account/data deletion” in the request.
After verification of the request, associated server-side personal or pseudonymous account data will be deleted unless limited retention is required for legal, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, or Google Play purchase-related obligations.
Deletion of server-side Plenordo data does not automatically delete:
- information stored locally on the user’s device;
- backup files previously created by the user;
- Google Sheets or other files stored in the user’s Google Drive.
These remain under the user’s control and may be deleted separately.
9. Information About Children
Plenordo is designed for use by adult professionals and is not intended for children to use as account holders.
An adult professional, such as a teacher or tutor, may choose to enter information about clients or students who are minors into their local Plenordo database.
Under Plenordo’s local-first architecture, these ordinary work records are not uploaded to the Plenordo backend.
The professional user is responsible for ensuring that information entered into Plenordo is processed in accordance with applicable privacy, professional, and child-protection requirements.
10. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on the user’s country or region, applicable law may provide rights relating to personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or information about how data is processed.
Privacy or data-deletion requests can be sent to:
We may need to verify a request before taking action in order to protect users from unauthorized access, disclosure, or deletion.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when Plenordo features, legal requirements, or data-processing practices change.
The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when the policy changes.
If Plenordo materially changes how user information is processed, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
